wow, brett rogers looked frightened to death at the weigh ins (when overeem got on the scales especially) overeem gave rogers a real confident look when he was on the scales 6.12 onwards, brett is looking at him (overeem) then soon as overeem looks at him, brett looks away nervously.(its very slight but speaks volumes) its probably then that alistair thinks, "gotcha"

Traveling through Europe I noticed that the Dutch along with Scandanavian people speak the best English of any mainland Europeans.They focus on it a great deal in the educational systems, and I also noticed another thing that separated these countries from others further south.English-language movies and television are subtitled with original audio instead of dubbed as in France and Germany.Dutch is also such a small language,they have to know English to be able to go anywhere else in the world.

Both my teachers in middle school I had surpassed. My point is, we focus on it a great deal, but our teachers are not competent enough. If I can surpass teachers at a young age with mediocre English (compared to Americans f.ex), how will a guy who is actually very talented fare in this country?

@Suboloc Crocop was one of my favorite fighters in PRIDE. He's really hit a slump now but I don't think it's because he's out of his physical prime. When he fought Overeem he was only 2 years removed from winning the PRIDE 2006 OWGP. He had just crushed a can in DREAM so he should have gotten his confidence back. I think Overeem was just too much for him. He outweighed him by 20 pounds. There is a new breed of HWs now. Guys with the skills to match their size. Crocop is just getting overpowered.

Knowing this and realizing that Alistair is bigger and better than his brother ever was, he will run through UFC's heavyweight division. UFC's heavyweight division is overhyped that is Dana's job and he's very good at it. After he'll beat Fedor i'm confident that he will sign with UFC and than you will all witness the power of the Reem.

Are you saying that when Valentine Overeem beat Couture, Couture was no champ?? He won UFC heavyweight in 1997 and in 2000 and Valentine Overeem beat Couture in 2001. Couture was in his prime at that time... And Valentine humiliated him. All i'm saying is his little brother has more skill than Valentine ever had.

@Suboloc Crocop was one of my favorite fighters in PRIDE. He's really hit a slump now but I don't think it's because he's out of his physical prime. When he fought Overeem he was only 2 years removed from winning the PRIDE 2006 OWGP. He had just crushed a can in DREAM so he should have gotten his confidence back. I think Overeem was just too much for him. He outweighed him by 20 pounds. There is a new breed of HWs now. Guys with the skills to match their size. Crocop is just getting overpowered.

Chuck was losing to AO, AO gassed and chuck just knocked him out. Gassed due to all the weight he has to cut and keep it off just to fight in LWH. Now that he doesn't need to cut weight anymore he looks even better. This is the guy ufc needs to get, not fedor, fedor would lose to Cain

@gamebred26 I would like to see Overeem in the UFC. Not to start any of your stupid PRIDE vs. UFC shit but just to see a talented HW realize his potential. After Fedor there is nothing for him outside of the UFC. I like Strikeforce but the top talent really is on the UFC. They have monopolized the sport since the death of PRIDE. I could care less for rivalries between ORGs I just want to see the best fight the best. I personally think Overeem would run through the UFC HW division.
