  • hey can anyone help me with a question, i have a 02 chevy blazer and i cant find a video on here to show how to reset maintenance required light

  • @702sincity702 With the key on, pump your gas pedal all the way to the floor board 5 times. Not running, just key on. Then start it.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! IT WORKS GREAT

  • Thanks Dude.

    Preesh

  • Thank you! Mine was annoying the heck outta me! Is the light just for oil changes or other serious issues?

  • It comes on every 5000 miles to remind you that it's time to change the oil.

  • Kewl. Some other jackasses online said to do it in ODO mode, not Trip A.

  • That was for the older xB's.

  • @JakeBlues68 It's for any Toyota and most Lexus

  • Comment removed

  • mine works on ODO not on Trip A....it depends on the year

  • Thank you, I was trying to remember what they did at the dealer to reset the M R Light. I maintain my Xb myself and was upset that i didn't write down the proceedure the first time. If this helps you, I use 5w-20 Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic, and the Xb runs real smooth and my MPG average is 26-27. It is sold for $4.01 a qt. at Wal-Mart. Many thanks again !

  • @speeder99123 You should try Pennzoil Ultra ;) That's what I use in my '08 xB

  • @Chase16016 yes, and also NEVER use fram filters

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting!!!!! I couldn't find it in the owners manual, great video. It'll help a ton more people. Thanks again~!

  • Wow, thank you, its work~

  • very much appreciated, all the directions I could find were for the 07, which is a tad different. Great job!

  • thanks a lot, everybody was saying the ODO instead of Trip A, thanks a lot!!!!

  • Awesome! Thanks I've had it on for months now and nobody new how to turn it off.

  • Thank you so very much,I been going nuts trying to reset it.
