  • wrd thats nice,i wish i could come visit this joint

  • Great Video, Its just sad to see all those scrap locomotives, when they could have just upgraded them and kept using them.

  • @CSXQ614 Thank you! I know. I bet if you arranged transportation, they'd probably give you an engine for 3 grand or less.

  • @CSXQ614 It does seem kinda sad to me, too...but they may be keeping those units around as parts units to keep other locomotives running. I would assume that's why they are there...for instance, I noticed an older former Illinois Central GP in the bunch that had been practically gutted.

Usually, in dead lines like this one, you see the "usual suspects": older GEs, worn-out-rebuilt-then-worn-out-again former IC units, and troubled SD50s that seemed to live troubled lives.

  • I need to check out folkston funnel at some point. Thanks!

  • @esiegel76 Thanks a lot Eric!

  • Wow Will......That was a great video! I can't believe all of those engines just sitting there rusting away! That a lot of money that could be mad at the scrap yard! LOL

  • @PghTrainFanatic Thank you Nick! I wonder if they wouldn't mind giving me a few. One for my yard and a few to cruise down the main. That would be awesome.

  • Nice stuff, you got some spots in Wax that I haven't seen before

  • @ChessieStorm Thanks Eric!

  • Man that was a excellent video!

  • @aocruiser Thanks a million Anthony! I always like seeing a comment from you.
