Not only do I like this song, but I love It! It remindes Me So Mush Of Myself! I actually So The Movie For The First Time Today, and it was Awesome! I really Felt Sad:( for The Young Grl Cause She Put All Her Trust In This Older Guy. An He Went an Betrayed it! Such a liar! I went though the same thing in life which now I have a child by this guy! Great movie, I watched it through the credits, which I usually don't do, but this song was great. I was surprised to see it was performed by Duffy, because it has that 1960s feel to it. Does anyone know if Duffy wrote the song or if she covered an old song?

This film is based on a true story. Lynn Barber was taken in by an older man, and her parents were even more charmed by him. Despite the experience, she did come through successfully, went to Oxford and had a successful career as a journalist.

There is some wonderful music in this film, but it was all old recordings, and thus not eligible for Oscar consideration. However, I would be very surprised if Sandra Bullock's performance in The Blind Side matches Carey Mulligan's in An Education.

Some cut scenes are included on the DVD, a chat with her school friends where she admits to being a fool taken in by a liar ..... a much longer scene with David's wife where she has a 4 month old baby......meeting David in Oxford after he has come out of prison. I think these would have added to the story and made it a little less positive.
