WAY. i know that you probably don't care, but i am seriously freaked out. here's the story. so i was watching a video and i thought, "hmm, i wonder if there's any viva la vida death note amvs!" the reason is because today i was at school and the choir sang this song. then, i was just about to type in the url and i was watching a video that had nothing to do with this song or death note, when in the suggestions box, it says death note viva la vida. no freakin' way. i'm scared.

This was a VERY good video. It gave me chills. :) So well done. Very moving. It made me really think about Light, as I find myself doing way too often (hehe), and how he used to be such a good young man, until he gained access to so much power. It overcame him and drove him insane. It just goes to show that even the nicest person can be corrupted.

Light wanted to be a god, which I believe is the reason that Lucifer got kicked out of heaven...anyway, my point is that Light's intentions were not of genuine interest of bettering the world, but rather to inflate his ego and be worshipped as the ultimate being. That's a huge difference, yet many Kira supporters never see it or rather they ignore it...

Okay...I could careless if you love Kira, that's not what I was discussing. I was discussing his character. You do realize that Kira does not have a sense of justice? It is all a scam. When he first used the DN, he used the excuse "oh, he's a criminal...he deserves to die" to satsify his own nerves and guilt for murdering. Then, he convinced himself that that the DN came down to him on purpuse, and because of his lovely god-complex, Light created Kira. Light cared only for himself, not justice.

This is really good! The song is perfect and I love how you switched between Light running out and the events leading up to L's death! And the roll of the dice part was PERFECT! I also love how the only subs you had was when he said "I am Kira" then you had Matsuda shoot him. It's all very good! Favorite && five stars! :D

I know but it does not justify what he does it's just plain hypocrisy what gives Light the right to pass judgement on people and not only criminals Light even said that once he had finished killing criminals he was going to start killing lazy people and maybe crime did reduce by 80% but that is only a society living in constant fear. raito could easily have won. he could have spared L, the FBI, the SPK, and pretty much everyone else except the criminals. or if he insists on being an asshole and killing those who investigate him (how the fuck would they find him unless he attacks/toys with them anyways?) he should have had mikami carry a spare page at all times and not use it unless absolutely necessary. He could have used that to A) kill the SPK at the warehouse, or B) kill Takada, so no need to fetch the death note.
