Are you using the default syringe gun? Obviously this strategy is based on close range attacks, so the ranged weapon used is not very important, making the Overdose's damage reduction inconsequential, but the speed boost could be very useful for catching up to wounded enemies trying to flee or for a last-ditch escape.

I wonder if the Uber Saw would be overpowered if the Critical swings gave you triple the charge. Or when attacking a disguised Spy, the game would keep count of the number of times it took to kill him, then give you that many to you upon death. If you attack him and he has even just 1 HP left, you get nothing, or if you kill him with the needleguns.
