Croteam are totally right for doing this and I hope more developers follow suit. This is a perfect type of drm, essentially turning the game into a demo. As someone else said earlier, drm like ubisoft's is a joke and needs to be changed. There is no excuse for pirating now with mediums like steam. If you want a game and can't afford it now, wait for the steam seasonal sales. Most games sell for up to 80% off in the sales (I only bought DNF as it was £3 in the last sale!!!!!)

This is due to the fact of people pirating the games... The same scenario happens in the movie industry. You could watch online the movie but its not the same as the theatre. Obviously the movie producers didn't get paid cause you decided to pirate it. It was good they added this to the pirated copy that way people wont get past the game.
