Lydia is retarded. She gets in my way when I'm fighting. She gets in the way when I'm looting. She gets in the way when I'm firing arrows. Where does she not get in the way? No idea!

One time I even attacked an enemy, with Lydia being behind it. It hit Lydia, even though the enemy was in front of her! The 2h sword just went through the enemy as if it was a ghost or something!

Also, her hitbox is awful. I don't know about other companions, but I shot a meter above her head (kneeling). *die*

To make a companion stronger you can give them equipment that is better than what they are already wearing and they'll equip it

Eg. Give Lydia Glass armor and a daedric sword and she'll be pretty tanky!

Cicero is a much better follower, and he doesnt take a knee nearly as much in battle. I killed Lydia with a lighning rune, and took cicero as my new follower.

Lydia wouldn't listen to me, so I killed her and left her in my home in whiterun. :D
