Ha ha, why yes I do know that. I was refering to the movie, which never once mentions Katrina. Also, in the movie, Eragon and Brom kill the raz'zac off right at the begining. All of this, of course, would completely prevent everything that you mentioned happens in Brisingr. Which is why the screenwriters for the movie needed a brain check.

Oh my! Man I really missed this part when I went to the cinema for the movie... and I regret going there. Why in the world have they taken out every good part?! And the actors of eragon and Arya don't fit in this movie. Eragon IS a bit reckless but not as much as in the movie. When Arya said: 'oh you can visit me.I'm the elven princess' I really was near to shouting out something very unpleasent. Arya didn't want anyone to know about her rank, especially Eragon. The movie is flat now >:(

I know! Way to leave out everything vital to the plot of the series, and then they throw in all this extra junk that makes no sense. They should get some new screenplay writers and try again. oh, and new casting directors. Murtagh and Brom were good, though, and I loved the costumes (with the exeption of Arya's) and the setting and CGI. (Saphira was not perfect, but pretty close to it)

I think in the very beginning of Eldest eragon will have to make up all this stuff he left behind. He'll one buisy dragonrider.

and if the directors of Eldest dont think of this, making up for whats missing in Eragon then were screwed! and then the Inheritance cycle movies will be bullshit.

What the hell? Why the hell did they delete this? It's one of the most important events in the book, and it affects the rest of the cycle greatly also. Did the directors neglect to read Eldest?

Eldest wasn't written yet, I don't think. And it seems that yes, they deleted everything important that was actually in the book, and added all these random scenes that have nothing to do with anything!!! garrryrghrarrr. such an awesome book, and would have made such an amazing movie. but they FAILED.

though Garrett Hedlund was the most perfect Murtagh ever, and Saphira looked JUST like I imagined her. also, i loved the costumes and the locations. but apart from that... ugh. so dissapointing.
