Simply a beautiful song. Sorrow, pain, death, grief, regret... this song brings up too many emotions. The FMA soundtrack is amongst my favorites, and this song is in the top ranks. It has no real lyrics because no amount of words can describe what the characters went through... Fullmetal Alchemist made me laugh as much as it made me cry... truly, I can admit it is my favorite series. A true classic that never gets old...

so you can beat them ed....."cue music"Transient life"..."they sealed me for so long, you cant let them stay in control..."I'm greedy as hell, only out for myself. ..She always said it would be the death of me... They pull the strings... now cut them. I'm counting on you, kid..." it was such a powerfull scene, and the music added such impact... till today it was one of many memorable scenes!!!

ive noticed popular japanese anime has themes aimed to helping others, support, sacrifice, teamwork, being "your" best all for a greater cause...
where as i noticed american toons.. are aimed at fat jokes, idiotic dribble that makes us laugh *sometimes* an gets our minds off real world issues.. heey similar to all the popular reality b.s. shows..

@kanokobo I never cry while watching anything, but fma made me cry for hours! I cried during the last episode and almost the entire movie !

@Aleeeeeex76 I know what you mean... No other anime has made me cry like FMA. (Actually, other than Fruits Basket, no other anime has made me cry at all... (Momiji! DX)) The sacrifices these brothers go through and the pain they must feel and the love they have for each other... its just indescribable... No words can really depict it...

@ConanEdogawa89 Of course it is. FMA is an amazingly beautifully crafted anime and manga that is filled with lost hope saddness and death. Yet somehow life and hope manage to crawl back up.
Of course its going to make you want to cry. Especially in Major Hughe's death. Damn that was sad
