Eiffel 65 were all about the Belief of Aliens, many of their songs were alien orientated or outer-space orientated. "Gray" as in the Alien species Gray/Grey alien (however you want to spell it). I have a feeling dispite the lyrics of this song being about someone has always "ignored", it's in my opinion that its a hidden suggestion towards the idea that no one sees, hears or even acknowledges "Johnny Gray" - Johnny Gray being a reference to Aliens, and that no one aknowledges their existance.

It's just an idea of myne.. But it's a bit of a coincidence. Or maybe they just picked a Common name like Johnny, and a very bland colour name such as "Grey" as a second name and as an icon of boringness to make up this characters name, really both ideas are probably what they intended to start with, especially with their album name being "Contact" ...

@Master1Icy The Sirians from the Sirius star system we're thought to be blue skinned. The Dogon tribe of Africa told that in ancient times they came down to Earth in their space ships and tought them things about the universe. I believe this to be true as I have seen UFO's and had a very interesting incounter with what I believe to be an "alien" of sorts. And not to mention I doubt the Ancients just pulled this shit out of their ass as all ancient cultures had the same names for celestial things

@raptorrave Interesting interpretation but the spelling isn't with an 'e' and Aliens >are< widely acknowledged so the lyric doesn't really support this idea. The key line is 'All the calls I get are mistakes', so isn't it about a guy with no friends? Alternatively remember their involvment with the Bliss Corp, maybe it's a take on the sort of 'I should be famous' letters they would recieve or approaches they would get.
