i'm a competitive swimmer and we went to florida in the winter. we swam outside in the record breaking temp. of -4 celcius. the heaters in the pool were broken becasue it couldn't heat so much water. the practice was so cold i had to get out because i almost got hypothermia and so did a lot of my friends. so us canadians definately beat you. especially since we are thick blooded from the extreme cold here so we could easily do that anytime
