is it just me or is anyone else bothered by the lack of basic rumba in all of the rumba routines?

to me, a good rumba will have a balanced mix of basics and tricks, and here (as well as many other competitions) there seems to be a lot of posing and tricks, not enough rumba

does anyone else feel this way? oh and whats with the lady of couple 59 wearing black shoes, i liked couple 28 the best in this vid

@drpat228 no i dont really agree they are already considered masters in this field so you cant question their basic. Second, they were rank top 6 in the whole europe so it means that they have the most strongest basics and they were ranked by licensed adjudicators.

Stokebroe's is the best here! Most technique and rythmical couple of all there... Great feeling of each other and have a very good view of dancefloor ;) Great success in Professional group ;)

i don't like stokebroke's performance, too. i have a feeling that she'll fall down. i don't see why they're champions, plohl and vescovo have better technique, i'd say.

Interesting order of dances. From my experience Cha Cha or Samba are usually first... I guess times, they are a-changin'.

For some reason the Stokebroe's style here I dislike. Pohl and Lavinovich, Maurizio and Melinda and the Russian Couple I absolutely adore, though.

The order in some idsf finals depends on the solo dance which the couples have to perform.

In this final the rumba and the jive were performed as a solo dance(Rumba therefore first, as second solo dance last). Usually the order remains Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso, Jive
