Whooa whoa whoa, how big is this engine? They could have probably gotten way more hp easily. If you search "cft s2000" they got a 4 cylinder 2.0L up to 701hp with just the turbo and the engine was stock.

@SyLaRSaGe Lol maybe but this car puts the power down from take off i don't think a turbo like that will be able to spool up before 4k rpm at least Heating will definitely be an issue with a turbo that big and reliability as well since the stock engine will not be able to handle that much horsepower at all. It needs stronger parts...

@SyLaRSaGe Here are the problems with doing that to a s2k, 1 stock internals can not take the heat for long, compression ratio is rather high, and I doubt the cylinder walls are even thick enough to take the boost so you will have huge reliability issues, 2 single turbos pushing out big boost will have huge amounts of lag especially considering vtec kicks in at over 6000rpm on the s2k , 3 it will not pass emissions in the U.S, 4 it still sounds horrible

@jrodthegreat mustangs are built for a midrange power curve pushing high torque at low rpm. If you pushed their red lines back they would not perform as well. The stock 5.0 puts down the same track times as an M3 because of the low rpm torque.

Here is the facts yes you can make a Honda civic get to 850 hp but you have to rebuild the whole powerplant and it will cost you big money. Yes you can put an alpha 9 on a GTR and get 1000hp but it costs 50k. If I put 50k into an engine and tranny I could have a Nelson TT engine running 2500hp

Clearly Have never driven one. Take a look at Road and Tracks comparison of the 2011 Mustang GT and 2010 BMW M3. It is nearly even with the M3 not just in acceleration, but in the corners as well. And with the upgrades on this car, it would handle a good deal better than the 2011 GT.

But if you want to try and be a snob about suspension design, What is it about the LRA that bothers you? Don't worry about getting to technical, I design suspension systems in my spare time.
