  • NO! the russian died D: he was fucking über awesome!

  • It makes me sad that the russian guy dies :(

  • @marauder2142 spoiler man

  • I remember when I went to Somalia last summer. Every household had an ak 47.

Even the poorest people would have it.

  • @shotta0121 what were you doing there bro?

  • my parents were born there. So I went to visit family and that.

  • 0:53

Damn, Valentine's a cool-headed customer. Three Kalashnikovs pointed right at his face and he doesn't even flinch.

  • damn...in africa you can get an ak 47 for about 50 euros...

  • @1993heavenshallburn WHAT?! 50€ thats a rip off!!!

  • im not kidding. it is like that. i think the flight to africa is more expensive then the gun itself...

  • @1993heavenshallburn You can get an AK47 for the equivalent of 2€ in Africa, depends on where you are ;)

  • ...and it depends also how intelligent the seller is xD

  • Try bringing it back home, that's the problem :P

  • why? you got 30 rounds. how many guys are gonna be there? xD

no, you re probably right... why were the customs invented...

  • Another frequently-seen weapon in the film is the RPG-7 rocket launcher. In one scene, Yuri gives away a whole plane full of weapons, including RPGs, to peasants to avoid being caught with them by Interpol agents.Interestingly, the flight scene shows that the launchers are armed, having the rocket-propelled grenades mounted... never a very safe way to fly.

  • Throughout the movie, the Interpol agents are brandishing Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns, both the MP5A2 and MP5A3, many of which have Navy trigger groups

  • -The barrel and gas tube were shortened and the front sight is fitted to the barrel by means a flat on the barrel and a key on the front sight, the hand guard is held in position by the flash hider

-The Muzzle brake/flash hider was turned down from a piece of bar

  • -The folding stock is, as you mentioned from East Germany, this was purchased in East Germany at an arms fair and fitted to the weapon

-The top cover is held on by means of a S.M.L.E. rear top cover spring clip

-A pistol grip was installed and the trigger moved forward, the trigger guard is from a Vector R4

  • The weapon started out as a Saiga hunting rifle with synthetic stock and furniture...Here are the rest of the details:

  • The gold-plated AK-47/AKM derivative carried by André Baptiste, Jr. (Sammi Rotibi) is not, as has been written previously, an "AKS-47U" or "AKMSU" or any such factory-manufactured weapon. It is a custom-made Kalashnikov that was built specially for the movie. Martin Edge, an armorer at Hire Weapons, which supplied the guns for all scenes filmed in South Africa, has sent IMFDB an e-mail with the following details:

  • What do you call that military shirt in white that president baptiste is wearing?

  • hahahahaha,,.,,,,,whats that? aPARTY hahahahahaa

  • Luckiest man alive =D

  • I feel sad this old pops got blow up.

  • OMG Gold AK~

  • "Personally I blame MTV"

    Wow thats epically harsh.

  • What truly defines Walker's epic performance is the little smile he gives just as some machine gun fire is heard. That little moment just defines what kind of a man this is.

  • what kind of car was dimetri sitting in when it blew up? looks like a rolls royce

  • If not RR then it is most certainly a Bentley, funny how those two can look very similar.

  • i love this movie!....

  • 7:56 - 8.08 my most memorable part of the film nicholas cage ftw !!

  • LO L °Q °

I was like WTF when the car blown up!

  • This movie makes me wonder:

    1) How much power does Interpol have in the world?

    2) Is Interpol run by a single country, or multiple countries? Because later in the film, it's referenced that Valentine works for the US president, but some of his co-workers are clearly not from the USA and if they were only USA, why would they have so much authority in foreign countries?

  • @Lamporre Interpol is kind of like the equivalent of the FBI (law enforcement), but is composed of agents all over Europe and they have international jurisdiction. They are not an intelligence agency like the American CIA, Chinese MSS, etc.

  • Agreed

  • Soviets had guns coming out of the demon hole. Huuuge stockpiles.. and now no enemy....

    SNATCH AND RUN ^Q^

  • yeap societs could not have enemies for his guns but they have many costumers for his guns!!!

  • he did not kill his uncle but his rivals!

  • why did kill his uncle

  • oh, the new MP-5 ... would you like a silencer for that ? xD

  • "The only way you could die from this baby now is if a food drop hits you." LOL Very smooth.

  • the new mp5

    would u like a silencer 4 that?

    lol

    1:22

  • The scene with the car exploding, I knew that was gonna happen.

  • Lol MTV? 8:28

  • Eamonn Walker had a tough job to do in this movie and he did a fucking amazing job.

Watch him in "Cadillac Records", his performance of Howlin' Wolf was impeccable.

  • @Lamporre

Touch job? Acting? Touch job? Acting?! ACTING!?!

Go do some manual labor, you spoiled prick.

  • @CleverDjembe

    Oh relax.

  • @Lamporre

    You're right, sorry.

  • Valentine's habit of waving his gun around and pointing it in people's faces (and allowing his men to do the same) isn't really consistant with his character's supposed whiter-than-white morality.

  • that was a bad blast pipe on that dudes car o_O

  • no it was the other

  • did uri kill the russian leader dude?

  • no that guy called wise or something planted the bomb i think

  • Nice golden ak 47 :)

  • "Go have intercourse with yourself!" hahah

  • "LISTEN TO THE NEPHEW!"

    lol

  • What's the song playing in the guy with the golden AK-47's radio?

  • idi na xyi!

  • This, is your hotel. 2 stawwsss. 9:30 XD

  • He didn't kill his uncle. The other arms dealer did it.

  • Just asking.......did he kill his uncle ???

  • no ;-)

  • he didnt kill his uncle. it was the other arms dealer. it comes up later in the movie.

  • don't even ask that question he does not care.

  • He was fooling (read: hitting on) one of the President's chicks.

  • because is an ape

  • He tries to set an example, but it is difficult eh ?

    Personally, he blaims MTV.

  • @Axmand his soldier was flirting with his gf...its the code of the world u fuck with anothers girl be prepared to get bullet in head..

  • i want that car!!

  • "personaly i blame MTV"

    hehehe

  • Coolest quote, haha.

  • @ciechanowiec

The facial expression changes from 7:42 to 7:48 are some of the best moments in the film concerning Andre's character. Eamonn Walker did a fantastic job, perhaps the best acting in the film.

  • @JimmySteller

yeeh i agree, this face is priceless, Andre own this movie

  • No he didnt do it, the guy who tried to make a deal with Mr Cage did it

  • a used gun, that s a good one hahaha

  • did he kill his uncle or did other people do it

  • The other arms-dealer killed his uncle. That´s why he gets shot by Andre Baptiste and Yuri.

  • His rival did it.

  • great movie, thanks

  • 2:12 and this is a flaw in a Republic...legal loopholes.

  • I still don't get it. Who's got the idea to give that Soviet general with a bombed car? Orlov?

  • i think it was his competition that other old guy...but im not sure

  • @Souw92 Yeah, really strange he'd kill his uncle...

  • best movie of all time

  • why does the kid at 9:09 have a wire model of an ak-47.

  • practice

  • your dad

  • To show how that country is flooded with a culture of violence, I suppose.

  • That kid that works on the helicopters is nicholas cages's son.

  • no its not

  • Yes he is. The kid that can dismantle the helicopter quickly is nicolas cage's son in real life.

  • It is, actually (although he looks a bit different now). Which makes his line "Get to work, son" a little injoke.
