1) Probably not, unless you spray the shooter through one of the holes before you get shot. :) 2) Depends on which Tigerlight and how close you are. The TigerLights range from 100 lumens to over 600 lumens. Obviously the 600 lumens will be more blinding, but even 100 lumens is uncomfortable to look into.

3) Well, about ten years ago an officer walked up on a vehicle and the guy pulled up a gun and tried to kill him. Because he had a TigerLight®, he was able to spray him in the face before he got a shot off, saving his life. Because they were then using a spray 1/7th the strength of the current spray, the shooter was able to fire a number of shots but missed the officer and was then shot and put back in prison. In every case I've heard since, the shooter has released the weapon.
