It's possible, though that a fragment of Vergil's soul resisted Mundus' control and Mundus simply discarded it. The fragment responded to Nero's call for power, when Kyrie was in danger sometime before the events of Devil May Cry 4 and became what we know as Nero's Devil Bringer. My hypothesis is based on what Nero said, when he got Yamato.

@drunkdrag0n DMC 3 was the one game from the franchise where I liked all of the songs at my first playthrough. DMC 4 had some good ones, and it took time to get used to Lock and Load, so there's always some nice tracks in DMC games, and so I think the same will repeat in DMC 5, but I'm not so sure. It's a different Dante, different attitude, which means the feel of the music will be different. Maybe more eerie, maybe just silly. If skynet2005 composed the OST, I would look forward to it.
