I was trying to learn this song, but somehow I couldn't get it right. Until I saw your video! Perfect guitar lesson! I'll definitely watch your other tutorials too :-)
Does it follow along with the player, or is the player supposed to keep up with what's shown on the screen. If it's the former, does the S/W highlight errors in what is played?
if you want to sound like the actual recording with same speed, just instead of skipping the 4th string on the Am, E, and C, play the 4th with a bit faster speed. But on the D and F just play it the same without the D string. But still, awesome tutorial man. thumbs up so everyone can see this tip.
@hodgeybaby I use to have the same problem, i always play an f in bar chord form instead. You might know what that is, but ill tell you in case you dont. Create a bar on the first fret and then make an E shape chord on the second fret spreading onto the 3rd fret also, being as its an E shape it would do that anyway
awesome teacher.. again... thx for this song... my grandpa knows how to play this song when he listens to the actual song so now i can go play along at a better pace.. thx again
Excellent tutorial.

Can't form an f chord without muting the 3rd string. Any tips on how to stop this from happening?

can i touch guitar with my little finger to support my hand when picking or is it bad habit?
triviumhana 3 years ago
That's fine. Lots of different pickhand positions can work. Whatever you decide on, try to keep it consistent.
