Don't think of it as shit graphics, (which they are not, you get 6 of your friends, a small-ish sum of money and make a game) think of it as graphics that your computer will play with minimal lag, and can be played by older computers. laggy engine, huge bulky marine building, game graphic did not live up to the promises of concept arts and rendering, clunky animation, skulks 2 times its original size, game mechanics that obviously failed in the previoius ns 1 beta stage gonna be in the new ns2....mentlegen ns2 is going to fail

@akira357 Well, since it isn't even past alpha stage, let alone beta stage yet, i'd say lets wait 'n see what they make of it ;)

I can tell you for sure, the beta stage of world of warcraft was not a pretty thing at all, nor very entertaining.. generally testing phases are like that, and its part of the reason they do the whole testing - both to track down and fix bugs, optimize engines, and to balance gameplay and looks to the likings of the participants(representing future customers)

I guess there's an addition now where the guns recoil makes it hard to move the gun while you're firing? Either that or they guy was missing on purpose.. but that would be pretty weirdly cool. It might be easier to hit aliens but if theres some kind of recoil-suit research you have to do so you can aim better while firing it would be acceptably cool still.
