L'orgue est évidemment magnifique, et le jeu de Jean-Baptiste Robin ramarquable en tout point. Mais il y a aussi la musique de Louis Marchand, un génie malgré tous ses défauts, le premier étant de n'avoir pas laissé plus d'oeuvres à la postérité.

Moi aussi, j'adore tout ça !

Bon, je ne suis "que" pianiste, mais je trouve cet orgue de Poitiers particulièment géant, presque digne de celui de Saint-Maximin de Provence...

Et en prime, contrairement à beaucoup d'organistes, l'interprète ne me semble pas du tout "coinçé" (comme souvent), et donc, du coup, il joue magnifiquement bien, lol !

Breathtaking performance of a wonderful piece. This is as good as Isoir from St Maximin, with the exception that the reeds seem to sound truer (difficult to tell CD against YouTube...). Please keep the Classical French organ repertoire coming in. Regards, Paul.

Le merveilleux orgue Clicquot de Poitiers, un des plus beaux instruments de la planète, joué par son heureux et talentueux titulaire faisant sonner ici du Marchand dont il nous a laissé une si belle intégrale. Un must ! J'adresse un grand bravo à JB Robin , entendu il y a quelques mois en concert Nice , pour le reste des vidéos postées sur youtube. On en redemande !
