Here in Illinois, you can get up to like 15 years for videoing an officer without his or her consent.

Interesting. I am a journalist in Canada, although for a small town newspaper. But i still take my job very seriously.

So far in the past 11 years i've have been doing this, i have had very good compliance with the local police with regards to crime scenes ect. and they seem to really respect the 'freedom of the press'. But we do have a mutual respect type thing.

However, the day that one cop does try to pull a heavy on me, i will certainly stand up for my rights. Good for this fellow.

We really need to all stand together in something like this, other wise they are slowly erroding your freedom, you are gradually getting used to the marshal law state.

These people are not "just doing the job" they are being trained to be more aggressive, dominate and if need be violent., some of them love it, psycopaths who love the fake identitiy of a uniform to hide behind, we need to come to each others aid before it is to late,
