Dolly says she doesn't call herself "christian", because she is more spiritual than anything. There is a big difference. Might explain why she is so open-minded and not judgemental towards other people for being different. And Dolly is about as different as anyone could be. I love her for all she is, always being herself and being real. She may be all glitter and glamour on the outside, but she is a real person with a real heart on the inside. It's not about Dolly being a "Christian" or not. I believe she writes/performs songs like this to share her spiritual side. To the world, people might label her as a Christian, but I bet if you ask her, she would just say that she has a special relationship with God that is very spiritual. And she carries on by helping those less fortunate and just wanting to share the Love that she has not only for God, but her fellow human beings. We all can learn a lesson like that.
