Its really bad when i needed Wikipedia to know who Virgil, Rocket Raccon and Nova are. Nova looks pretty bad ass and wouldnt Howard the Duck make more sense then Rocket Raccon? Why Iron Fist and why no Megaman?

I'm no Capcom fanboy, but they always seem to have the cooler looking characters. Vergil, Nemesis, Frank West... Most of them, really. They all look better than Marvel's Characters. But I'll always love Spider-Man no matter what. I wish that Venom or Carnage could have made it in. But hopefully we'll get real dlc this time.

@cloud314231 This is what my issue is with people. I understand wanting their favorites, but bashing characters simply just because you don't know them or weren't in MVC2 is pretty close minded. I admit RR wasn't on my most wanted list, but I'm sick of people blaming everything on him and making him be the scapegoat as to why characters XYZ didn't make the cut. It pissed me off enough when ignorant people did this to She-Hulk(whom I actually wanted) and now I'm just bitter at it in general.

@cloud314231 Yeah I'm sure who's getting it worse. PW or RR. I mean PW has heavily requested to be in, but people keep blaming RR just because they've never heard of him before. I've seen people even blame him for MM not being in. I bet if he was in MVC2 he'd have more fans. The fact that there are so many people happy over Sentinel and Strider is proof of this and the fact that so many people are still begging for Jin, CapCom, and Cable proves it further.

@Rickthedickflick That's pretty short sighted. The previous games had characters a lot of people never heard of beforehand.. A lot of people didn't know who Strider, CapCom, and Jin were before their MVC inclusion. And guess what? Them and several other characters became popular due to same reasons that these new additions could. There were also many people complaining about Taskmaster and She-Hulk getting in over other characters. But those two ended up being two of the most popular characters.

For those who keep wanting more Street Fighter characters; Capcom has WAY MORE characters in their universe than just Street Fighter. Enough rehashed characters that we've already seen over and over again. This game keeps getting more original with fresh, brand new characters never before seen in a fighting game. Whether the fans like the roster or not, the game is still going to launch, people are still going to buy the game, and everyone's still going to enjoy the nice updated MvC3.

@XxNightflameXx Well said. There's more to Capcom than friggin SF. SF already has not one, but TWO upcoming crossovers with Tekken. No need for them to be taking up a bunch of spots here. It's called Marvel vs Capcom, not Marvel vs SF. It's supposed to represent Capcom as a whole. Not have a certain franchise nominating one side of the roster.

@KCJ506 Regina from Dino Crisis, Jotaro Kujo from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Edward Falcon from Power Stone, Unknown Soldier from Forgotten Worlds (actually played as an assist character in MvC1), Sammonosuke and Jubei from Onimusha, and Sieg and Victor from Chaos Legion.

I've never seen any of these Capcom characters fight outside their own games. Characters like Ken (shoto clone) and Guile (Charlie Nash) have already had their fair share of multiple fighting games outside of Street Fighter.
