I found the biography of M.Pujol in a second hand store in 1979, the first time I got wind of this unique artiste.Reading it was like a breath of fresh air.He was the act that kept the sails of the Moulin Rouge spinning in those far off days, and no performer today could hold a candle to his impressive arts.A phenomenal farceur of flatulence, he must never be forgotten.
Absolutely fantastic a hilarious and tasteful look back at one of the entertainment worlds more extraordinary talents! just like pujol you have me crying out "encore"!
trickboy1, thanks so much. Just lately I seem to be involuntarily blossoming into a peteur, now if I can just control my anal sphincter, I might be on to something. Take care, Eric.
Hi brilines, thank you so much. Checked out your vids too, excellent! I'm always excited when I come across real talent on YouTube. Will add a link to your vids on my site: homevideotalentshow. Eric.
Joseph Pujol is my Great-Great Grandfather and I must say this video is very well done. My grandfather Charles Pujol came to America in 1955 with my mother and family. Sad to say Le Petomane's grandson Charles died last year of cancer at age 90. He told me many great LePetomane stories before he passed.I truly wish I could have met him. Thank you for a wonderful video!
Hi cosmicque, thank you very much for your kind comment and interesting info. To my knowledge there is only one very slim book about Le Petomane which I based my monologue on. Are there any more? And have you written one and if not have you thought about it? All the best, Eric.
Yes I have thought of it as well as thinking it would make a great/funny movie. Anything I can do it help you about Joseph Pujol, please let me know! My middle son also has this talent,"BUTT" not as perfected.

A wonderful monologue! If Le Petomane's talent had been introduced in this video tribute, it could have been a dialogue.

Bravo! You don't hear "drum roll" rhymed with "bum hole" very often ... and maybe that's a good thing.
