the tether is 12 miles long and approx 100 miles away and the disks seem to be 2 miles wide in diameter. Tether looks to be 12 inches at 100 miles away. Disks take up two inches of tether equalling 2 miles wide.

SnookCowboy, the (in)famous NASA tether incident is a typical consipiracy lie, you can debunk yourself: The bright tether (about 1/2" thick) saturated the cam sensor; so it appeared yards wide, while the mirror-telescope was focused to the tether. A small piece of space debris passing the tether has far not enough 'luminous power' to de-saturate the image sensor (no focus!) Hence the small particle appear i) to pass behind the tether, ii) the notched disk is in fact the rear mirror of ....

the newtonian telephotolens (two mirrors), while the dark spot in the middle is the front-mirror, and the notch is the front-mirror-mount-post. Go to a photographic supplier and let demonstrate such a lens on a cam of your choice. When you focus the lens to infinity and direct it to a nearby small light (e.g. a halogen spotlight) you will recognize your NASA-UFOs again. (Maybe with no, or more than one notches, depending on the construction of the particular model)

You will see, there is a gravitoelectric force (empiricaly found by MOND creators) that forces every matter in a cos(phi)²-shaped profile perpendicular to the rotational mid-axis of the supermassive black hole in the center of our galaxy.
