As dangerous as it sounds, if you can't reach the grenades under the metal netting in the room with the 3 dead bodies (beside the room where you found the body with the artifact), you can tke out your pistol and shoot them out from under there. 1-2 shots usually gets you 3-4 nice grenades.
Can you aim the GP-25 down the quadrant sight in this mod in stead of being limited to vanilla CoP's cheap zoom? My LAN buddies think the concept of aimable FPS grenade launchers is anathema. I've tried to re-educate them but it just won't jive.
@OCedMyToaster Can you aim down the quadrant sight in People Soup? Do they let you mount the GP-25 on an AKM? Imagine a Fulton FAR-15 with an M-203! Speaking of which, does the M-203 have a functional sight in The Soup or Misery?
@llorellorens This was recorded about 5 days ago, so not in this video. I did grab it today though and I'm pretty excited! It looks like it's going to fix a lot of the major gripes I have with this mod.
sry for the triple posts, i always post before i'm finished with the video :P but the lr300 stash at the stage area has a bandage in it, not much but, every little bit helps in misery, i know where the mosin nagant is, and the gun you were close to getting in the stash was the obrez, that's why it's so hard to spot, just a small little wooden gun :P
I couldn't do this mission, it was just way too creepy for me to handle. I'm equiped with a SPAS-12 and like 102 Shells but i'm still scared.
By the way, you should keep a can of water or some tea with you so that you have something to keep you up when you're tired. A very quick tip, you should keep MINIMUM equipment with you.
I'm a recon and i just carry 14.9KG, i'm basicly Sonic the Hedgehog. Lightweight inventory = More loot to sell.
3:59 "Don't go Russian ahead." I could make some double-entendre style joke about "Russians" or the classic Konami game 'Rush'n Attack' (even though this is Ukraine).

Keep the "zombie powder" (which is based on tetrodotoxin). If you use three doses and survive three blowouts, you'll gain an achievement called "Marked by the Zone." You'll also be able to survive blowouts in the open from then on if you have full health when they start. They still drain your health, though.
Perfect choice of intro pic and music, by the way. Somber, yet not pessimistic. The adventurer spirit is a spirit of compassion as well as strength and cunning. In Jungian terms, the philosophy fits with the Champion personality type. It also fits with the philosophy of Taekwondo. Speaking of martial arts, if you watch the trailer for "STALKER 2" (which might actually be Sector 23), you'll see Dutyers practicing Sambo.
You mean the CGI type trailer with the music from Requiem for a Dream? I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that was a fan-made trailer for a competition GSC held before the release of Call of Pripyat.
It actually makes an appearance in People Soup when you're talking to the Duty Guard at the bar. I featured it in the episode "Epic Cut-scene, Bro"
@Xerxes1688 Do0mstick would be a shotgun. Do0mspear would be a rifle. AKM w/bayonet. I like that idea. Or an HK33, G3, or SG550 with a bayonet that mounts above the muzzle, allowing a grenade launcher to mounted along with it. On an AK, you'd have to choose either/or. The serrated edge faces down on an AK bayonet, making it easier to saw through razor wire and other stuff. Imagine that being incorporated into a mod! The ability to saw through wire fences with a bayonet!
@IggyHazard I seriously want access to bayonets in STALKER 2 and Metro 2034. These guys routinely face mutants who must close to melee to do any damage, and yet bayonets haven't come back into general use?!
@Mazryonh Metro 2033 had an Uboyneg shotgun with a bayonet. Imagine a Saiga 12K (able to accept PSO-1) with a bayonet mounted above the muzzle and an M-203 (w/functional sight offset to the right) mounted under the forearm. Talk about mutilation overdrive!
@IggyHazard No, I meant bayonets on the AK-74s and possibly even the Bastards in Metro 2033. Were the old PPS-43s capable of mounting bayonets? The AN-94 is one of the few assault rifles able to mount BOTH a grenade launcher and a bayonet.
And besides, in the Zone, a bayonet may be the only thing that can save you from a charging mutant when your gun jams. I know I'd rather save my ammo and stab some smaller zone mutants instead of shooting them if bayonets were available.
@IggyHazard Or the AN-94, the bayonette is mounted sideways (at right side of the muzzle brake).
But then again, an AKM with the classic bayo with bakelite hilt would do the job.
It could also be a Dragunov SVD as they can accept the AKM bayo. The only game that I know that has that is Vietcong with Fist Alpha expansion, you can attach a bayo under the SVD. It also includes an AVT-40, scoped or not.
@Xerxes1688 Speaking of a bayonet being offset to the right, that's how it is on the TRW LMR (which is side-fed like the FG-42). Imagine a short-barrel LMR with a bayonet AND a zonesmithed side-opening double-barrel shotgun mounted on it!
@IggyHazard That would be a LMC (Low Mantenaince Carbine).
I always dreamed about a revival of the FG-42 or the Enfield EM-2.
Imagine a FG-42 in .280 British (7x43mm), modernized to be modular with picatinny rails, different barrel lenghts and all that tacticool stuff.
The rifle can be easily converted to belt-fed if necessary, but normally fed from a wide array of magazines. It can accept either NATO 40mm GL or a special 35mm tactical launcher that has HEDP, Buckshot ammo and some others.
@OCedMyToaster On the official facebook page, GSC said they made that trailer for Stalker. It was an old trailer.
I don't know who from GSC manages the facebook page, but it suddenly makes everything in that trailer especially interesting... like, was any of that stuff once part of the gameplay? I wish they'd explain it more!
@CelicetheGreat Really? I could have sworn that was fan made.
It just doesn't really look or feel like one of GSC's cinematics, and that music couldn't have actually been considered (for copyright reasons alone, I would assume).
Thanks for "dead guy advice". I spoil to all a beautyful pepesha and 45 acp bullets hide in a little building of Iron Forest court. Let's use this GREAT CHANNEL for sharing stash-info. Doncha?

@OCedMyToaster Yeah, that's the one. That was Sambo, right? Imagine battling a snork in hand-to-hand combat using Sambo techniques.

@IggyHazard I'll rather go with an Arisaka Type 38 with a Type 30 bayonette attached.
With that you have a 65" long Do0mstick, or rather a Do0mspear.
Or, an AKM with its standard issue bayo would do it.
