  • yes , you have to press and hold down the Eject key before the disc would eject, to prevent accidental ejections.

    Also, you can always drag the disc to the trash ;)

  • ... Please... try to read more about Update's... The eject key have a new delay of 2-3 second's in the update 10.4.9 this is 100% NORMAL and is because some user press the button accidentally, so if you don't like it switch to 10.4.8 because do a video of this is very stupid...

  • We will do this again, and here is why: We KNOW that this is 100% normal under 10.4.9 an we KNOW that you have to push the button just a little bit longer. The video belongs to a blog entry you will find in the »Sites Linking to This Video«.

    Here is the story: We updated a lot of Macs at work to 10.4.9. Guess what happens next. Every ten minutes the phone rang and another user was reporting that his eject-key will not work. Thats why we created this »stupid« video.
