Most organized crime does have a heavy interest in the drug trade, but it's not their sole source of income. Legalizing would force most dealers to move legal but highly restricted or heavily legislated drugs / opiets / whatever, or at least mass amounts of quality legal stuff.There will always be a place for people who will sell that which can't be easily obtained otherwise.

They're all better by far; both their governments and their people. Most americans are so ignorant and blind; most don't even think there is a world outside the US. Look at other countries governments you'll see that they exist to protect and help their people; not just to line their own pockets with gold.

@BigUglyBear Please don't get me wrong, I'm an American too, but being an Air Force Brat, I've been lucky enough to see that there are other peoples out there with different ideals and beliefs. I love America with all my heart but I also know that we are the real problem. Even poor people like me live a standard of living that is so superfluously decadent and wholly unnecessary. We Americans, myself included, consume over 90% of the worlds resources just so we can live so comfortably.

I love the military. I grew up an air-force brat. Someone made a comment about Hitler and WW II, that was the last time war was the only right option. Now days it just seems that the only reason we went to war was either for vengeance (i.e. Afganistan) or for George Bush and Dick Cheny and their cohorts in Haliburton to line their pockets with oil money. In other words there is nothing wrong with defending freedom when freedom is actually at stake and not greed or a desire for retribution.
