How to get sound on hyper cam 2 no stereo mix

If you're like me, and don't have half the shit these guys do in their control panels, you can take an audio cable with two male ends on it, plug one end into your headphone jack, and the other into the line-in port. Then enable the "line-in" in the audio control panel. Worked for me. Downside to this is you can't hear the audio as it's being recorded, because it's being looped right back into the PC; might have to play with sound levels to get it to record at a reasonable level.

There's NO FUCKING DEPTH to anything on the internet. They're all one paragraph guides that assume you already know EVERYTHING about the damn program.

Blame Gateway, Dell, and other OEM manufacturers. They made a deal with the fucking stupid RIAA to disable Stereo Mix, for the illegal reproduction of music. They didn't realize that many,many computer programs use it for recording the audio from your speakers. I even called Gateway, but the guy had no fucking clue, THIS REALLY FUCKING PISSES A LOT OF PEOPLE OFF

on the hypercam 2 window there's a tab on top that says sound. check the box that says "record sound" and there you go!!! the most easiest way..
