Sony delayed the releases of EFLC for two weeks, but it's not something new for a delay from Rockstar to happen actually. I own the PC versions of 3, VC, and SA. I am playing SA on a single core 2GB machine and it runs pretty good, finally up to PS2 par!! hahaha Actually humming at 3.2Ghz and HT mode. Problem is, aiming and targetting is flawed as was the jumping (car) and dancing with the PC version
omg all those GTA`s you saddo :P lol.. i get what you mean on the errors for 360.. but its also been proven that those errors are from heat... and most "cock heads"(we will call them) have the xbox beside ther telly or flat on the floor or something along those lines.. not giving them enough air :)
Heat is the issue true, but it's mainly caused by cheap mounting hardware for the CPU/GPU heatsink. Sure, it'd help if the "cock heads" gave their consoles more breathing room but the problem would still be there ;)
I don't condone this, but i keep my PS3 in a tight spot with little airflow and it's fine. The heatsink of the PS3 just seems more efficient, huge surface area to dissipate heat and a large high quality fan. More expensive to produce I'm sure but worth it in the end :)
Have you seen the leaked photo of the new streamlined Xbox? It uses the low profile CPU HSF of most modern multi core CPU PCs. And the GPU and CPU are said to be integrated. which would be interesting. The scratching occured due to the height of the laser optical pickup I was told, when it was moving and adjusting itself
@MetallicBill Yeah i saw the leaked images of the new motherboard, definitely a step in the right direction. Having the CPU and GPU in the same package with a decent cooler should cure the heat problems :)
uhh scratches discs? that problem was fixed quite a while ago with every few batches of 360's they release they do fix some of the problems u know could you atleast try the console before complaining about it

If it wasn't a mainstream product that's sold well above 30m units i would agree with you about trying the console first. There's enough coverage of the faults available to make an opinion without owning one. Plus, i have used them myself in the past and know people who've experienced some of the common faults.
The Xb360 version of GTA4 ran much better then my initial experience getting it for PS3. That was terrible, and I was sticking up for Sony, but not in Fanboy terms, I felt it the better hardware option

The Rockstar team have a very good relationship with Sony, they're making a PS3 exclusive called "Agent". Few details on the game at this time, but Rockstar have said they'll be pushing the capabilities of PS3 further than they could with 360 bound GTA IV.

The PS3 is good don't get me wrong, the xbox is good. But the reason why Microsoft have more exclusives as the games are easier t make for the 360 and they can pay company's from the xbox live gold subscriptions. Which helps the live experience. But PS3 has a free online which i agree is good, a cheap alternative to Blu-Ray. But the PS3 never had a big increase in the market, and i suffered kinda from the start, as alot of reasons for the big sale for the 360, is gears and halo, without no 360.
You get additional features on the PC version, custom radio, better graphics etc. so getting it for PC is a no brainer. Also, some great mods are available for the PC versions, for example San Andreas has the multiplayer mod (Google SA-MP)

I got Vice City and III a while back, back then i had other reasons. III was just dirt cheap so i picked it up for the collection. I got Vice City to do the whole stunt video thing :P Makes me lol now, but it was fun to screen record, edit with windows movie maker and share them on FileFront :)

I bought a 360 and regret it, thought it hasn't broken yet. Main reason is I have an early v1 with no hdmi. Also the fact I know what any second it could fail. I do like live and the dashboard over the ps3. But I agree the hardware should never have been released in the state its in.

Microsoft approached them, offered to fund all the DLC. That is why it is 360 exclusive, it's 360 exclusive because Microsoft paid a substantial amount of money for the DLC to exist.
I'm not a fanboy of anything, but that is the truth of the matter. No other console (PS3 or PC) shall get the DLC. Microsoft didn't just buy exclusive rights, they paid for the entire development of it.
i must be lucky, ive had my 360 from day 1 and never had any problem with it, friends of mine who have had problems have also had theirs fixed with no problems.....but i do own a PS3 as well and i just love both consoles. they both have their good sides and bad sides.....

Wrong. One, it's only marginally cheaper to develop for as games like this are just developed on the 360 and then ported to the PS3, and second, it's not easier to develop for. The problem is that you see change or something different as "more difficult" when it's not. Developers have said that once you learn to develop for it, it's just as easy, but different.
And the PS3's downfall WAS price, not games. The PS3 has many multi-platform games and 1st and 3rd party exclusives.

I have ps3 and 360 elite i started with the premium 20 gig and it lasted well but after 2 years i had the rrod the elite is loud I'm not hating on the 360 but I'm constantly playing ps3 and haven't touched my elite in 3 months i think they should make more ps3 exclusives. Also no wifi built in to the elite is poor i would recommend the ps3 over the 360 any day.
Whenever i game on ps3 with low wifi i never get lag and using Ethernet cables is old and no one wants wires across the room wifif is a must in modern day society!.
I'm a big fan, too. I have every game for pc and all the psp's as well.

wifi creates lag whenever you game always use a rj 45 cord thats why 360 doesnt have wifi.

Whenever i game on ps3 with low wifi i never get lag and using Ethernet cables is old and no one wants wires across the room wifif is a must in modern day society!.

Can't say i've noticed any lag on my wifi connection, it's been flawless :)
