These guys were kicking ass back in the 70's, a right treat for this Aussie to see them again. The world would be a dimmer place without Kiwi musos, that is a damn straight fact!
I was stage right with two of Steve Youngs sons for this performance, it was a magical world!! They laughed and buzzed with me as my mind got sufficiently blown, seeing Mother Goose for the first time. Hard to fault a band that takes the stage on lawnmowers!!
So beautiful when Steves keyboard line gets us all emotional at around the 5 minute mark. Best band to make it out of Dunedin EVER!!!!
saw this great band many times in oz and still reckon when they hadpixie micheals doing front of house with six 4560s and 2 x2441 jblhorns a side was the best sound i ever heard even better than the double meyer.they still rock as ever.
must have watched this band at least 50 times at the playroom gold coast they are the best live band ive seen. did a ripping version of stairway to heaven and paint it black brings back lots of good memories thanks for posting
they had two other cds.I believe this came from a cd I Believe In Fairy tales. cant remeber the other title . From what i believe Stuffed was the best of the three. I have seen Stuffed on cd i have it on lp and cd NZ bands dominated the oz rock scene during this period.
We, used to the play the same PUB and Club circuit each night as Moother Goose. (Had the same manager actually). They had top billing needless to say and marcelle rodeka. Have lots of footage on 8mm film when I get around to it I'll post it with the "Bands" permission.
I can't sing very well was released as a single only. You can buy it on vinyl from a site called musicstack. They'll send you the single and a copy burnt on a cd too! Mother Goose were awesome!
stuffed on cd... i love that album soooo much where can i get a copy... wish there was a torrent 4 it one of the most talented bands ive ever seen, i was at the dallas brooks hall gig (with Kevin Borich) how fuggin awesome it was
