Since I was young I fell in love with this song. I was told that it was a cover version by an Asian boy group and now, years later, I hear the version on the radio and now I'm struggling to find that exact same version, which is EXACTLY like this one but younger and fresher. Himself and I had an argument about this song when it came out, the year before we were married. I thought it was romantic (show me how you feel; words are meaningless). He thought it was manipulative ("if you loved me, you would"). We heard it again recently and I brought up the old disagreement. He, having matured in his viewpoints somewhat, allowed as to how he was a douche back then. :) I wouldn't go that far, but I'm glad he's hearing it my way now. (20-year anniversary last March!)

I remember the first time I heard this song was on Rage when it was introduced as a song off Extreme's new album back in 1990. There was about 10 or so of us sitting around talking and laughing and when More Than Words came on within a couple of seconds we were all just sitting there mesmerised by it. It was a beautiful song then and it is still one of the most beautiful songs now.
