Yay Tech. I'm going to audition for the ensemble. I know one of the tuba players, jayna yates. She graduated from Soddy High my Freshman year.  She's AMAZING!!

This is seriously one of the worst concerts I've ever heard. During the Barber Adagio, there's a duet between euph 1 and tuba 1 where they are seriously a quarter-tone off from each other the entire time. And then the Tennessee Tech group got up and totally outdid the Blair group. GR may be nice, but he doesn't know squat about teaching tuba.

TTU is the definitive ensemble of this genre. Vandy's had a completely different purpose. GR's objectives are very different from those of Winston Morris. GR actually taught one of the top players in Winston's studio. He's a fine teacher, even for advanced students, but his focus is on younger students.
