Hi thanks for the reply. I mean the bolts that go from the PTO shaft to the mower. I know the potential for them to go increases with hitting the ground or going too fast, but these go when you engage the PTO lever. Since my mail to you I have found that decreasing the RPM helps. The bolts have been approved by a supplier as Titanium coated steel, so should be good enough. Another owner has suggested the PTO clutch may not be as good as it should be? Very fustrating.
@RogerThat1971 Do you mean the shear bolts in the PTO shaft to the mower or whatever implement your using? If it is those and you are using a mower then either the mower is digging into the ground because it is set too low or you might be driving too fast through very long or tough weeds. Unless the shear bolts are not the proper bolts your using. Thats the only things I can think it would be.

@RogerThat1971 Yeah puzzling, sorry I can't think of any other reasons why they would fail. Good luck finding the cause anyway.

hey MrBoojangles, Can I pick your brains on your MF135 regarding the PTO lever etc. I constantly keep sheering bolts when i engage the PTO lever.?

different from a rotary cutter as it has no top link attached and no tail wheel.

@JamesTyreeII Yeah the mower drawbar rests under the tractor drawbar to make the lift. It's how this one was manufactured.

that would make good hay that stuff.
