Okay I am just now watching this since I am getting my wrap today so I can take the baby in the pool and still have both hands free for my toddler :) People are so rude! Number 1. All these people say dangling is not okay in baby wearing ... Ummmm have they not seem the baby bjorn?!?! Number 2. Someone said it wasn't tight enough ... How in the world would they be able to assume that unless they were in your living room??? And number 3. All these people saying poor baby ... I am pretty sure Hen

come on you guys give her a break!!!! it is not always easy to carry your babe especially if you are in hurry ... if you dont like it dont it.. i actually find it kind of cute .... the only thing i dont agree is that i dont know if this is safe .. you have ready mummy wraps made for this purposes .. that would be cool....

Wow....so many negative comments. I thought this video was perfect. Short and to the point. Your baby looks fine, and as I didn't hear him screaming bloody murder I would assume that nothing you did hurt him or that he was ever uncomfortable...I'm really excited to try my new wrap with my soon-to-be newborn, and I'm grateful for your video for showing me how to use it. That was one of the worst demos I have ever seen. Poor baby. First of all, you should never carry your baby facing forward, cause you press it into a hollow back, baby cannot turn away when it gets overstimulated and the so called 'frog-leg-position' is not provided too. Second in the facing in position you did not provide the frog-leg-position, babys legs were just hanging down the whole weight was on the genitalia - totaly no go in baby wearing.

Third: You should carry your baby in the craddle position only when the hips are ok.

My advise or better my request is, can you please remove this video from youtube?

@merlin0023 I am a pro at it now! LOL! I was a new mom with a colicy baby trying to move as fast as I could! :) You have to understand that! I don't want to remove the video but I am going to make another one when my second son is born. Why don't you make a video of the positions you use and how you do it. That would be a great idea. You can teach them how you think it should be. Thanks you for your honesty. I know it's not the best video. :) I got good at it though.

Thanks for making this video! I am going to try hold #3 for my 3.5 week old. I was a little overwhelmed by all the fabric when I bought the wrap so it was great to watch someone else show how it's done. Your baby is so cute!

I thought this was a super helpful demonstration since I was clueless as to how to use it when I took it out of the pouch! It's like, 15 feet long!!! Great job. I must respond to the negative comments by saying if you think that's a poor little baby, perhaps you should turn on the news someday. He looks like he is perfectly wonderful and cared for. You have issues.

I like the last hold you demonstrated. I just bought a Moby Wrap and I didn't see that hold in the book, but my 3 week old has a preference for relaxing that way. Do you recommended such a hold for a newborn, or should he be a little older like your child? Either way, great video. My holds are looking better and better each time I use it. ;-)

My mom got me the moby and I took it out and was long what do I do with this long fabric lol! :) I'm going to practice with my little shih tzu before my little guy gets here! I feel a lot better about using it now! When you wash it do you dry it in the dryer?

Yep, I wash it in the dryer. It gets a little shorter but the first time you wear it, it stretches out again.

I have a couple of questions :) First, I know I have trouble bending over or squatting to get clothes out of the dryer or emptying the dishwasher when Claire is in my carriers. How is the Moby for this? Second, does your back hurt? I think you answered this in another video, but I can't remember :)

Great video. I've worn all 3 of my children and after you master it, it's really easy. I highly recommend it. If cost is an issue, remember that you can find wraps on Craig's List all the time. I just bought one that was barely used for $25. Good Luck.

Wow, this is really cool. At what point of motherhood did you decide to buy this? I've heard that boys are generally in need of more holding and attention than girls are. I'm 39 weeks pregnant with my baby boy and have been thinking about getting one of these since I first saw you post about what a lifesaver it is. However, money is a little tight, so I don't just want to run out and buy one of these, ya know?

you can make it from tshirt kinda material. I make my own and you need 6 yards of fabric. it needs to be kinda stretchy

When you buy it, it comes with an instruction manual and there is a breastfeeding hold. I haven't tried it yet but someone I know uses that hold and said it works great! Good luck to you. If you have any questions about it, just ask.

Thank you for making this video. I made my husband watch it as well and we are going out tomorrow to buy one. One question though, are you able to nurse Henry in the cradle hold or any other postion? How hard is it to do so? I have a sling now, and I am afraid that it is not going to be comfortable. Thank you for your advise.
