when you are pulling your index finger down, pull it down towards your thumb.

Great video! That is one thing I need to learn to do. I'm not very good with shooting cards vertically like that. You are really good at that. Jerry Cestkowski does some repetitive shooting of the cards like that and it's really beautiful. Have you ever heard of him? He does it on one of his companion DVDs to the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. I think it's the second one. Zoom, Bounce, Fly by Jeff McBride is a good DVD that has a lot of card shooting?
