I'm really glad that Nan ended up with Flo, but I'll be damned if Keely Hawes doesn't break my heart every single time. You get the feeling that this is do or die for Kitty, that she really is sorry, and that without Nan she's got a bleak future ahead *sigh*

@moonkissed45 I felt that way as soon as I finished the book, I was almost angry when I put it down! Then I remembered how much crap Kitty put Nan through (keeping her in the closet, cheating on her, etc.) and I recognized how good Flo was to her and vice versa. Unfortunately, those significant details of the story are rather toned down in the tv series.
I'm sorry but am I the only one who hates Kitty I mean she's total bitch in my eyes and I'm glad Nan finally moved on and found herself some real happiness
@devilshomie I can't blame Kitty. She made a big mistake, but she is so easy to relate to. She's afraid of what the world will think of her, afraid that it will affect her career, and though she loves Nan, she is too afraid to put their relationship first. It's the same fear that keeps so many gays/lesbians in hiding... I can't hate her.
@razkins Not really I mean she dumped Nan in the cold like that and when she was with her they were both hid their relationship, I never really got the sense of Nan wanting to go public with their relationship
I agree that kitty is jerk, but I'll be darned if I said I wouldn't choose kitty over Florence. Good thing I'm not nan
