@Webhead123 Yeah, some of my players have turned down my requests to do these kind of videos in the past. I even put a call out to my entire GASP club if anyone wanted to do any joint videos, and the sound was a lot of crickets... hehe. I'm glad my 3 main and reliable players were up for doing these videos. I'm also glad I was able to figure out my wife's camera and tripod, and then how to change Quicktime movies to Flash with a free download. It would be cool to see some of your players.
I'd love to hear more player interviews. Specifically your channel hear but honestly any of the other channels it think would be well served to have them. From what I hear it sounds like you are doing a great job!
@SaudiLindsey4 I know blackbarnz has done some player interviews before, as well as a few others out there such as RobertJamesFreemantle. If I can do more interviews I will. Some people are camera shy and they have turned me down in the past.
That was cool to hear. I was hoping you were going to upload some of these player interviews. I think it's good to hear that honesty feedback from anyone one is playing with. Especially crucial for a GM to hear it from players. Big Tom said a couple of times that this LL game reminds him of when he first started gaming. That is a big compliment. You must be doing something right ! Also liked that he said it was a lighter tone. He's definitely a great match for your game. Cheers that was good
@23penguins32 It's funny, I kept hoping for someone to nail me to the wall and say I was doing something that needed fixed. Everyone seems to be really happy with the way things are going for the most part, which makes me glad. Tom mentioned the lethality of the game, and to try to incorporate more elements into the game besides the dungeon and town, and I will try to do that. It's good when you start with a simple premise because it is easy to add layers of complexity on later. :)
@Samwise7RPG I know. We always look for the negative so we can improve from that. But, as you pointed out, you can improve from the positive as well. Throw them a subtle twist soon. Bring those recurring themes or another hint of something to come. I've done a few times, when a PC or PCs are close to death, I've had the 'monster(s)' suddenly retreat. Initial surprise & relief until they start to question...now what ? What's coming that's bigger than that ? :) And yes, we do like our onions !
@23penguins32 I did throw them a very big twist after I recorded this video. The ancient priest that they managed to resurrect/summon Ur-Masha awhile ago actually turned out to be the Lich Lekorh that they have heard a little about with their exploration in the megadungeon. Now they realize that the "Big Bad" knows a whole lot about the party, their names, what they look like, their strengths and weaknesses... etc. :)
@Samwise7RPG Is that uploaded, the session ? I'm so far behind on those :) I was going to come back home this afternoon and start listening to the now ancient ones where I left off. I'd like to hear their reactions to that. That's never good, the situation you've put them into :) Well, that they've got themselves into really. That might be a good plot device to incorporate some NPC interactions. Very nice !

I'm going to start putting out my Darves Hill actual videos in much longer segments 1-2 hours each so they don't clutter up the feed. I hate the new way the videos show up from your subscriptions... Also they were the most talked about videos when I asked what should I change with my channel. Some people like them but most don't listen to them so I figured I would make them longer and easier to skip over.

@nazranaknapp I should upload the first interview today that has my other two reliable players. It is longer and will take awhile to upload. I took these with my wife's camera, but I had to switch them to Flash since the Quicktime videos would have taken all day to upload, haha.
You mean the game is suppose to be fun? It sounds like you guys are having a whole lot of fun, wish I could join!
