  • very nice video

  • ok guys idk what to do! I have pain around my gums in the back of my mouth... but it's only on one side... the pain spreads down to my glands it hurtS!

  • ok my teeth are a bit crooked only like 3 teeth though, and im freakin out here because my gums blead a little last night when i brushed but i brushed hard, like not regular hard, i mean **hard**. and i have 2 spots on my gums where they hurt then i eat cheetos on them or something hard 2 little spots... how many times a day should i brush? what toothpaste is best? and DO I HAVE THIS??

  • Hey Jessica.

Judging by what you have said, I wouldn't say that you would have the disease. You don't need to brush that hard haha. Only a slight bit of pressure is required when brushing.

But if you are concerned, the best thing to do is go to the dentist to get your mouth checked out. I would recommend getting in there as quick as you can so that if you do have gum disease, You can stop it early.

I hope this has helped you!

  • no kidding there r alot of 14 jerks on here but im 9 i dont have this problem

  • Well, I'm also 14.

Doesn't make much of a help to there not being a lot of 14 tear olds on youtube. lol.

But I have I gum infection on one of my bottom front teeth.

But then next to it my gum is starting to go down, and showing more of my teeth.

I'm also scared as well that I may have a gum disease.

Is it possibly for it to be caused by braces though?

    'Cause I also have braces.

  • I have that same problem, but I asked my orthodontist about it and he said that in my case it is a reaction to my braces and it will go away after I get them off...it could be different in you case so you might want to ask your orthodontist about that.

  • If it's unusally red, swollen and tender thenit's most likely earyly gum disease. But if your gums are pulling away from your teeth go to your dentist ASAP.

  • theres too many 14 year olds on youtube

  • Also 14, also have this problem =[

i think i got it from my braces.

  • Me 2 also 14 wt shud i do

  • i'm 14, my dentist says i have gingavitis, but they dont hurt, just everytime i brush they bleed, what stage would that be?

  • pink29061988, as long as you've been brushing and flossing well, you most prob can keep your teeth for a much longer time den ur grandpa. And since you juz had your regular check up with ur dentist, i'm sure if there's any prob, they'll b first to inform you.Jus rem to go for regular check ups once every 6 months & don worry too much. =))
