16-bit music has a wider array of sounds. Standard midi files are considered 16-bit.

yes there was one game on the master system, but Sonic was on the genesis first. Not many people know about that game until now since it came out on the Wii Shop Channel. So there was only 1 game that had 8 bit music, Thewyvern thinks all of them are 8 bit.

I know about the Game Gear ones, it wasn;t really a remake, sonic 1 and 2 on the Game Gear were there own seperate games. I said before the person who upload this should do some 8-bit versions of the Sonic Games from the Genesis/Mega Drive which was 16 bit, someone tried telling my it was 8-bit
