just seen that documentary for the first time! im 30 years old , havent been in to skating since the early 90s, i have always loved to watch it, but i was never any good at it. I remember in 90-91 my uncle bought me a powell peralta Deck, stacked it on some Gullwings, and a set of big, red, soft sticky and fast as fuck wheels! i forget the brand but that board was fast! the movie was amazing, these guys were TRUE pioneers!

i was at a party the other day, everybody's drunk and dancing and shit, and there were playing this vid on a big screen, y'know, setting the mood and all, and then it hit me: we all grow up in a certain generation and we have sometimes the same heroes and stuff, it's wicked, and it's great i think, it means kinda like we're being called by the same things, there're linked feelings in everything and that's how some of us can relate... i don't know... WHATEVER MAN. have a good life every1.

Brought back memories of the 70's in High School. What a great choice of music! The 70's. Old enough to see the 60's, but too young to be in them. The Dazed and Confused generation. Always hearing the 60's stories, not knowing how we could ever follow. As it turns out, we did a pretty good job! Just didn't know it at the time!
