@RunetheKoopa i beg to differ, even though i understand and respect your opinion to like the original, i believe the story was better in the sequel and the fact that grovyle was a main character, but i most admit, the rescue teams were a better idea than explorers. In the end, they are both great games with great soundtracks :)
I had that feeling in my belly.That feeling,when you have to leave,and theres nothing you can do.I was sweating the whole way through this almighty tower,scared as you could possibly be.I didn't want to leave my partner.Then,after beating Rayquaza,I knew the time had come.The time to leave.

My stupid copy of the game glitched so I can never beat Groudon. All my attacks only do 1 damage. I'm not underleveled so I can't see why this would happen.
I still remember playing my Mystery Dungeon Red, and when I heard this I just had to stop playing, this is the best music from a pokemon game ever, just pure epicness!
@TreeckoANDGrovyle Just recently a collaboration game between pokemon and a strategy rpg franchise called Nobunaga's Ambition. It's set in Ancient Japan where you play as a novice warrior with an Eevee. It looks pretty interesting. Hopefully it will be released outside of Japan.
great dungeon but the boss battle kinda lacked epicness , and the assortment of opponents was not to hard to keep up with ( claydol was the only pokemon who i had a little trouble with) . the diffculty in PMD2 was better but then the music in PMD 1 was better then in the sequel, so if the next one would be a little harder and music like in the first game, then it would be awesome

I love VGM when I was younger (now I'm 13) I played this game untill a duskull joined me in the tower, walked through walls, died, and stole all my Items that I've taken with me. I really cried and called duskull for an embodyment of dead and all evil things in this world. For 3 months I tried it again played it through, enjoyed the epic music, killed all the duskulls and also died at the 96th floor of the regi-dungeon don't know name anymore....thanks for forgett.

Agreed. I'm not usually emotionally touched by things like that, especially from a video game, but Nintendo is probably the 1st to ever induce an effect that made me cry.
Mainly just the first PMD's ending, not really Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky.
@starrodkirby1 Japan is on it....no, really, they are. From what I see it's going to be for the wii/wii shop channel and will have the art style of Pokemon Rumble.
@RequiemPwnagePSN I don't care whether they are the mainstream games (The standard ones like White and Emerald) or spinoff games. Pokemon games in themselves are great imo. PMD lets you BE the pokemon, rumble gives button mashers and beat-em-up fans fun, and Colliseum and it's sequel, XD: Gale of Darkness, had double battles everywhere, and let's face it, everybody loves double battles.
@drybowserman9091 I lost the original "Be a trainer and catch pokemon" games at the last generation and I never like Colliseum. I like the ones that stand out and work very differantly. Gale of Darkness let you catch Shadow pokemon and purify them and your enemy wasn't the the main enemy team, it was a professor and Shadow Lugia. PMD is by far my favorite pokemon game, the dungeons are generated differantly and you can be the pokemon and you make a differance in the world of pokemon.
lol of all the versions of this song, I like the original more than ALL of those remixes, why? BECAUSE those remixes BARELY even sound like they fit the sky tower anymore!? i mean in this original, the flute in the beginning + how the music flows out, all those other remixes have lost the element of a cloudy sky that this song was meant to maintain therefore, i click a related video in about 12 seconds hoping to find atleast one remix where they kept this aspect of this song -.-
This music makes me remember how hard my heart was pounding when I was playing this level, my Pokemon running low on health, monster houses, the exitement of finally beating the game how sad the ending will be once you get to it all made my feel this way.
Listening to the song makes me remember exactly how i felt.
A Pokemon Mystery Dungeon virtual reality helmet would be EPIC! I mean think of it. You're on a pad, and you get to walk around. Everything you feel around you (even pain...) seems real. You can do attacks on your own, and instead of text, you can actually TALK to your partner and OTHER people, and start conversations with them. Man...I want that so bad...dreams live on :D

ok, the first thing, that amazes me is the soundtrack itself, it suits so perfect to the area, you`re so high up in the sky and you`re so free there, and the second thing, i LOVE the bass for that soundtrack, as i heard that the first time on my computer i was like shocked, i didnt expect the heavy bass from a soundtrack, that actually plays on gameboy advance, try to get some bass out of a simply gameboy advance, you cant hear shit xD

i love this theme its my second fav in this game (#1 is the rquayza theme). this song is perfect for the story, it says "this is our last stand". and it is, but you just cant understand unless youve played the game. this game actually has one of the most moving plots in an rpg ever. more than ff7 thats for sure, i didnt even get choked up when aeris died, but when you got separated from your poke pal that youve been travelng with this whole time? man, thats heavy. i just felt like sharing that.
I pwned Rayquaza in my most recent run, using Mudkip, Cyndaquil and Minun. Attract really helped me out and so did Ice Beam. I think level-wise my team was around the Lv. 28 mark but my memory isn't great......
I beat Rayquaza at level 26 with Squirtle, Pikachu, and Magnemite. Yeah, that's right. LEVEL 26. O-O Or somewhere around those lines, anyway. The leveling rate in PMD1 is SO much slower than PMD2's! XD Also, PMD2's main storyline is wayyy longer in comparison. ^^ I hated the shortness of the original PMD's main storyline...that was pretty much the only thing I hated about it. :C
Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me that i left my normal life as a Human to turn into a Pokemon in a world where Monster things are going insane, go off to fight the GODS of this world, and stop an entire STAR from falling and destroying the planet.

PMD was epic. It made people cry with it's story, and the music was boss.
This game is ridiculously underrated.

Agreed. I'm not usually emotionally touched by things like that, especially from a video game, but Nintendo is probably the 1st to ever induce an effect that made me cry.
Mainly just the first PMD's ending, not really Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky.

@RequiemPwnagePSN I don't care whether they are the mainstream games (The standard ones like White and Emerald) or spinoff games. Pokemon games in themselves are great imo. PMD lets you BE the pokemon, rumble gives button mashers and beat-em-up fans fun, and Colliseum and it's sequel, XD: Gale of Darkness, had double battles everywhere, and let's face it, everybody loves double battles.

@drybowserman9091 I lost the original "Be a trainer and catch pokemon" games at the last generation and I never like Colliseum. I like the ones that stand out and work very differantly. Gale of Darkness let you catch Shadow pokemon and purify them and your enemy wasn't the the main enemy team, it was a professor and Shadow Lugia. PMD is by far my favorite pokemon game, the dungeons are generated differantly and you can be the pokemon and you make a differance in the world of pokemon.

lol of all the versions of this song, I like the original more than ALL of those remixes, why? BECAUSE those remixes BARELY even sound like they fit the sky tower anymore!? i mean in this original, the flute in the beginning + how the music flows out, all those other remixes have lost the element of a cloudy sky that this song was meant to maintain therefore, i click a related video in about 12 seconds hoping to find atleast one remix where they kept this aspect of this song -.-

Honchkrow is one of the most power types I used in Diamond and Pearl. Defeated 80% of the gyms with him.

This music makes me remember how hard my heart was pounding when I was playing this level, my Pokemon running low on health, monster houses, the exitement of finally beating the game how sad the ending will be once you get to it all made my feel this way.
Listening to the song makes me remember exactly how i felt.

A Pokemon Mystery Dungeon virtual reality helmet would be EPIC! I mean think of it. You're on a pad, and you get to walk around. Everything you feel around you (even pain...) seems real. You can do attacks on your own, and instead of text, you can actually TALK to your partner and OTHER people, and start conversations with them. Man...I want that so bad...dreams live on :D

ok, the first thing, that amazes me is the soundtrack itself, it suits so perfect to the area, you`re so high up in the sky and you`re so free there, and the second thing, i LOVE the bass for that soundtrack, as i heard that the first time on my computer i was like shocked, i didnt expect the heavy bass from a soundtrack, that actually plays on gameboy advance, try to get some bass out of a simply gameboy advance, you cant hear shit xD
so thats why i love that soundtrack, gives a great feeling

i love this theme its my second fav in this game (#1 is the rquayza theme). this song is perfect for the story, it says "this is our last stand". and it is, but you just cant understand unless youve played the game. this game actually has one of the most moving plots in an rpg ever. more than ff7 thats for sure, i didnt even get choked up when aeris died, but when you got separated from your poke pal that youve been travelng with this whole time? man, thats heavy. i just felt like sharing that.

I pwned Rayquaza in my most recent run, using Mudkip, Cyndaquil and Minun. Attract really helped me out and so did Ice Beam. I think level-wise my team was around the Lv. 28 mark but my memory isn't great......

I beat Rayquaza at level 26 with Squirtle, Pikachu, and Magnemite. Yeah, that's right. LEVEL 26. O-O Or somewhere around those lines, anyway. The leveling rate in PMD1 is SO much slower than PMD2's! XD Also, PMD2's main storyline is wayyy longer in comparison. ^^ I hated the shortness of the original PMD's main storyline...that was pretty much the only thing I hated about it. :C
