Melbourne has been rated the most live able city in the world more than once! and is the sporting capital of the world and the shopping capital of Australia! i think you people need to come to Melbourne, we're a lot more nice than any other state in Australia!!

Melbourne is good, and safe, and the Police service in Melbourne has been upgraded with more police on public transport, plus within about a year, Melbourne might be allowing students to use public transport for free 7 days a week! only Melbourne looks after it's people, have you seen the ticket prices in sydney, they cost so much!
I am moving to Melbourne in a couple of months from now, please, if you have time, explain to me why I should avoid the western suberbs. Is it dangerous to live there as a peaceful student?
it is very save dude..you need to be very unlucky to get mug or rob..you are really unlucky or might be looking for it, if you get shot in Melbourne..i hate to say it but it is one of the saves city in the world.. i used to walk alone at midnight from the city center to International house at royal parade which is around 5km with no one not even a stray dog attack me.. if you left your car unlock in western suburb, it might get stolen..Might! while the rest, i used to leave it unlock anyway.
