Phil reraised preflop, so he probably read Phil had pockets. Phil bets on the turn and Mike probably thought Phil hit a set. With the 6 coming in the river, he probably thought Phil had a full-house.

mike loses close to 24k on the pot since it was around 49k with the blinds by the river for 1 stupid reason.. not re raising with KK pre flop and killing the hand then and there. by just calling he let the emotional gay boy phill take control of the hand thus out playing him. mike played the kings the absolute worst way you can play them..

turn: " that`s still safe for you enough to slow play and let Phil bluff on the river, nice call, getting maximum profit"

@ciulpiabibikota uhhmm no thats not what mike was thinking if thats why you were trying to do. The moment Phil raised Mike wanted to call call call all the way down. Because he was scared from the start how the hand started/devolped. He played with phill so many times so he has a good read on him. He was never slowplaying his hand from the moment phil raised him. Its still a bad fold though. He stuck with his original read AA -JJ-QQ and wasnt openminded anymore in the hand.

all i saw here was a bad played hand by matusow, talked crap at the beginning of the hand, and then stunk it up after. if KK is an all in hand preflop, how can it not be an all in hand with no Ace on the board, no flush, and practically no straight risk? just a two pair risk with QJ, and that is something you have to be willing to risk. why not raise on the flop to see if he has that QJ? and once the 6 pairs on the river, now QJ is not even a problem!

@jrlakers84 The fear of matusow here is the two other he is afraid that Hellmuth had QQ JJ or hit the extra six on the river. Before he is folding he says he is afraid that hellmuth hit a fricking two outer.
