the last 2 movies I can honestly say blew me away were Jurrassic Park and Independance Day.. after that it was a slow incline to what we have today, and it all has to be saved by 3D

Great Miss Piggy impression man. Movies I think were just okay, "Castaway" and "inception". I try to make it a point to watch every Muppet movie that comes out and I've seen every one since "Muppets from Space". In every movie there a few moments that have that Henson magic that made me fall in love with the Muppets.  But they haven't been the same since "Muppet Christmas Carol" IMO. I loved "Muppets from Space" but it definitely different than the ones that came before.

I have to say You are speaking the truth about the new Muppet Movie. I mean I read the Junior Novelization of the film, and felt it was kind of flat and that the entire storyline was a bit of a repeat in someway from older Muppet movies. :(

So well done in speaking the truth about this movie as I feel the exactly the same way about the movie, and I haven't seen it yet. :(

For me it's gotta be Battle Los Angeles. Most people I know think that it's one of the best action films of the year when I think it's repetitive and boring. Plus only about 25% of it was shot in or near L.A. (near my hometown).

@turbolinix999 I agree if I had never seen a Star Trek episode or movie, I would love the movie but I spend to much time being upset about the history to enjoy it.

If only u were right...& they would send Kirk back loaded down with a humpback whale & an LDS strung out Spock on a detore from the 80's to blow that ship out of the sky & make it all right again before returning home to be demoted...then I might be ok...but till then I cringe at the thought of what they r gonna ruin in the next one.

The newest star trek movie....I LOVE STAR TREK but not that one!! My family loves the new one & I don't like it at all, I feel it erases the history of star trek that all treky nerds love & quote & go to conventions & talk about. It took all that history & flushed it down the toilet to make it more relevent to a younger crowd that if they r gonna become true fans would not want to loose the history either. The only good part of it is leanard nemoy & zachery quinto, but even they r not enough.
