Craig did not use glue in any of his replicas. Every time he picked one up, he would press the bricks closer, as LEGOs separate and loosen over time. A few of the bumps--the bumper flew off--but it's LEGO--easy to fix! He would click it back together and throw it again. As a child, Craig and his best friend Doug would have races to see who made the strongest model. LEGOs everywhere!

You are right! it's not the best replica. But, this was the second large mod I made when I was a kid. The General was built to be a functional, beatupable, toy, and, as you can see, its a tough toy. Plus I allways liked the look. Good eye for detail, keep it up!! Thanks for the post.

everyone knows it was orange but orange lego is not so easy to get and some parts are not even available in orange

the model is 15 or 16 years old. It was the second car I had ever made like this. Orange and the fancy curved peices were not available then. I only added touchups on the interior later in its life.
