These are two of the best qeej songs I had ever heard. Can you tell me who did you bought the qeej from? I love the sound of your qeej. It sound very "Kho Siab Heev". Also can you provide me some info on how to get the movies, Suab Qeej Hmoob 1 and Suab Qeej Hmoob 2? Keep up the good work and make more of your qeej videos. Every time i hear qeej it gives me chills of scary chlls maybe I havent hear the nice ones much i always hear at funeral only. Gosh think of it i need ot pay more attention to qeej
@kevinhawj13 the truth is that the qeej was a traditional instrument played hundreds years ago as a celebrations, gatherings, music, and harmony in China. Today in the Hmong Laos, Thailand, Burma, USA they change it to as a instrument for the dead, that's why it has a bad rep. Hopefully, we will change that image as our younger generation learns the truth.
@ilikesuzuki But China still use the qeej for funerals too. I know that because the videos I've seen on here they said the qeej and drum still a big role in funeral for them the hmong chinese.

Very nice and kho siab heev. My dad had this video. I love the part Boualong played his Qeej at the Hmong village.
