It's a good car indeed, it's not a horrible one. But yes it is scary.. Only small amount of drivers can push it to its limit.. Maybe that's the reason it was traded for lp560-4. Thanks Kyle for this good review..

@DCsniper207 The R8 in it's standard form is not, however there are options to make it a V10 supercar. Ride in something like a phantom or an aston martin and you'll never look at interiors the same.

To all the Ford GT guys in here blathering on about the GT being better. The Nurburging doesn't lie my friends. The Zr1 did it 10 seconds faster than the GT in 2009. The separation is a bit more these days.
Over glorified? This car is stomping Italian and German ass all the way to the finish line at a discount price.

@Permobil2004 i disagree, the GT40 i would agree on because of the time it was made and what it acheived back then. The Ford GT is just a remake of the GT40 so is nothing special, plus the ZR1 destroys a GT40.

@misterbear1984 actually im canadian and i do agree a porsche or ferrari or w/e could beat it in a circuit, but for a sheer speed the zr1 kills either. but eropean cars are definetly way over priced. you pay waaay to much for what you actually get and if i were to spend up to 200k on a vehicle, id definetly go for a 5.9 cummins with a upgraded tranny edge with attitude and twin turbo's. you can get all that for about 50k and destroy almost any other vehicle in the world

i just looked it up the gallardo pushes out 552 hp at 8000 rpms. where as you can have 638 at 6500 rpm.....so you can decide which one you would rather have
