That thing is absolutley excellent. i remember hearing that ford was making totally electric rangers, mainly i thought for places like indoor warehouses and mineshafts etc. and they could do short commutes. i didn't realize it could shoot to 70mph that easy. where was this filmed? could we get the camcorder a shot of under the hood? i love this truck. i heard they don't make'm anymore. i hope that's not true. thanks for posting this.
Ebay...Blue Sky Motors took a few Ranger EVs that were owned by California Power and Light. There aren't any left from them, but the SF Cali craigslist has a few for sale right now.
did you guys make your own EV cars? thats cool. I would love to have an EV car. oh and the audio is kind of jumpy. did you guys loose fps (frams per second) because if you did that could cause the audio to jump.

THERE IS NO TRANNY! Thats the best part! no gears.
I will have video of a staff memeber of my Congressperson driving it in the coming weeks.
Shame, I've contacted Ford upper management and they have told me MANY times that Ford will NOT be making this truck again.

would something like a CVT make it more efficient ? (read: more miles per charge)
BTW: i miss a big cut-off switch on your dash. you should definitely have one while testing!!!

These are the SAME batteries in EVERY Hybrid on the road....they just don't WANT you to cut out gasoline!

Ford had EV Rangers around the year 2000. Mainly meant for short distance drives.
