great job, but a circle would be a lot easier (not made of paper) it would be just one "seem" that it loops into, should be able to wor it pretty fast if made out of something like thin walled tubing. but still great work

So if you could find a way to join the corners instead of the sides of the 2 squares then it would a true "partial hypercube". That would be an even closer step to make a rotating tesseract cause from what i figure that is your challenge.

The word "impossible" refers to the presented shape (tesseract)
that can't exist in our 3D world. Before you try to be smart with me,
the current construct is made without sides, only edges. That's why
it's "possible".

This "partial tesseract" is folded from rectangular sheets of paper (no cutting of rectngles) and assembled without adhesives !
It is a multiunit origami model
